My artistic journey has been one of transformation, with a strong taste for travel and encounters.
After training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, I worked for several consecutive years in Germany, where I sought to decondition my body from the codes of classical dance. In 2012, I joined Scottish Dance Theatre in Dundee where I worked with renowned choreographers including Hofesh Schechter and Damien Jalet while developing my teaching practice with Dundee Rep Creative Learning in contact with a wide range of audiences.
From 2015, I decided to experience a different working pace as an independent artist. I have forged lasting links with Orjan Anderson Dance (Sweden) and Joan Cleville Dance (Scotland). Keen to go beyond the usual spaces and audiences, I developed a taste for productions in unconventional settings with Cafe Fuerte, a physical landscape theatre company (Austria) and the touring dance-theatre project Meeting The Odyssey with Scarlattine Teatro (Italy), on projects using urban or natural landscapes as a stage.
At the same time, I trained to become a certified Feldenkrais practitioner. I went on to a master's degree in artistic creation specialized in public space (FAI-AR, Marseille) in 2021 were I explored the possibilities of artistic formats outside conventional spaces, with an emphasis on participatory practices.
With the creation of the company Corps Calcaire in 2023, I'm continuing to refine my tools in the role of artistic director. I am looking to develop ‘aesthetics of relationship’ and to investigate the individual and collective production of subjectivity. With dance and movement as the main medium for encounter and dialogue, the choreographic field becomes a place of experimentation and the body a privileged tool for investigation and relationship.
